About Robin...

Robin Campbell is a New York City based director, choreographer, performer, educator, and writer. She has spent two decades in New York City performing on Broadway and internationally alongside Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winning directors, choreographers, and artists including Hugh Jackman, Paul McCartney, Susan Stroman, Julie Taymor and Stephen Colbert. As a director, choreographer and educator, Robin has worked with with performers and students from all over the country on theatre productions, master classes, workshops and private coaching. 

 

Robin was born and raised in Boston, MA, and spend her childhood deeply immersed in dance, piano, voice, and musical theatre. She moved to NYC at age 18 to attend Barnard College at Columbia University, where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Music and Dance. During her senior year, Robin was invited to become a member of the most prestigious academic honor society in the country, Phi Beta Kappa, based on her academic performance at Barnard.

After fifteen years in the business, Robin’s love of education and desire to explore new ways of connecting through the arts lead her back to graduate school. Robin spent four deeply fulfilling years studying at NYU Steinhardt, and found that her studies greatly enhanced her professional work, while her professional experience enriched and informed her academic experience.  Robin graduated with a 4.0 GPA during the pandemic, with a Masters Degree in Educational Theatre.
